Patience?

Repeating to myself, It's important to self coach sometimes, especially when at wits end. 'Patience is a Virtue!, Patience is a Virtue!' Then I think Then there are times when you have been Patient long enough & people just see that as a walk all over you sign so time to put out the nails on the drive way so to speak! NO, I'm not putting nails out on my driveway, just a figure of speech!. BLAST!

Ok, all better now, NOT.. I think it's important that people understand that even in the sunniest dispositions that sometimes there are moments when we all have had enough & things do come to a point. For me it's take a walk outside breathe in the fresh air, listen to what nature puts in the air. Sometimes that isn't even enough. Then I know I need to quiet my mind some more & find out the other root of the issue. We are human & that is ok. It's not ok to figure everyone else can take the BLAST from what we are experiencing internally to go externally. I have a rule at home, if I'm over "cooked" I tell them give me 10 & if they proceed, Heaven have mercy because I'm not (Although I am) responsible for what may erupt. I think the first few had to try, & they warned the others of the wrath so they were saved of it. It's the simple thing of self-preservation for them & for me really. As I have no desire to unload on them what I have had building up inside of me for however long it has been.. LOOOOK OUTT THERE SHEE BLOWWWSSS!!!

There is Time Today

It has been a wonderful day the sun has been out and the animals of course remind me why my children for the most part were angels as toddlers as G-d knew my animals would be forever toddlers of curiosity. Whether it had been my 2 legged children or my 4 legged creatures I have been blessed with them in my life and they all have taught me lessons that I have laughed, cried, wondered and just walked away in dismay going what was that for? The one thing that was in common is that they are all loved and have a special spot in my life and even at times when I wonder why me today. The answer follows, somewhere in the midst of it all.

One Particular story comes to mind one day, when I was on a limited time schedule and I had to hurry to town and hurry back home. I had asked the kids to make sure that they had their forms that they needed for this appointment. Sure enough one of them forgot it on the counter somehow. We had to turn around. I had noticed who was directly behind us and I don't know if it was because I was just upset because if I saw that person heading home before us or what that was just going to add fuel to that fire. So we got home grabbed the papers and we were off yet again. It just so happened that we came upon an accident a few miles up the road from where we had to turn around. The Emergency Crew was on it's way so we pulled over to the side. Low and behold, that car that was behind us, it was in the wreck. It was at that point, the racing around that I did so often getting upset about the time what was being wasted. I rethought about it. The saying Everything has a time and a place and a reason. I'm most certainly NOT saying that any of those people deserved to be in an accident. What I am saying is that sometimes in our rush of things we say things in hast that we can not take back that will impact our loved ones for an eternity. I do not recall if I did or not. I do know that I do not like being rushed and I do not like being late for things. Ever since that day though I tend to take a deep breath and realize that if things are not going exactly as planned that maybe there are other things in stored and I should be just grateful for that moment where I'm at and appreciate whom I'm with.
